Key Populations Uganda (KPU) is a nonprofit support
Organization for LGBTIQ And Male Refugees Sex worker people focused on the
Sexual Health, advocacy, Safety and Security, Community mobilization and
HIV/AIDs awareness and prevention for al LGBTIQ and Male Refugees Sex workers
Persons. Formed on 5th March 2017 first as a group led by LGBTIQ, who are coming out as well as men
and women who already out or having feelings or loneliness or isolation due to
sexuality or sexual orientation.
This
half-yearly report covers the period from January-June 2018 where key
activities and its achievements are highlighted. During this period KPU has
faced a number of challenges widely hurdles and blockade, threats among others
– to which some have continued and these created obstacles to the deadlines as
well as Activities targets. Despite all these challenges, the KPU team was
committed to implement the planned activities with success.

We
believe that KPU will accomplish the designated activities with remarkable
achievements at the policy level through the continued support in the future.
